Dr. Hasheen Lad resides in Prosper with his wife Priya and their three sons, and still plays hockey two to three times a week. That is worth mentioning because it means a real portion of our Prosper patient base found us through the neighborhood rather than through search, and because he genuinely understands the community's demographics.
From Windsong Ranch, Star Trail, or most of Prosper, the drive is 15 to 20 minutes south on the Tollway or Preston Road to Legacy Drive.
One of the youngest, most athletic communities in Texas
Prosper's growth has brought an enormous concentration of young families and youth athletes. Prosper ISD athletics and the club programs feeding them produce a heavy volume of overuse injuries, soccer knees, volleyball and baseball shoulders, gymnast low backs, and hockey hips.
Our approach with growing athletes is deliberately conservative on technique and aggressive on finding the actual cause. Adolescent athletes have open growth plates and rapidly changing lever arms, which is precisely why a mid-growth-spurt athlete suddenly develops pain in a sport they have played for years without issue.
Pediatric and prenatal care for growing families
With Prosper's demographics, a lot of our patients from the area are expecting mothers and infants. We use pregnancy-adapted tables that let most patients lie face down comfortably into the third trimester, and pediatric technique using roughly two ounces of fingertip pressure, no twisting, no popping, no thrust.
Common reasons parents bring babies in are colic, latching difficulty, torticollis and head-turning preference, and sleep. We are clear about scope: we address mechanical restriction, we work alongside your pediatrician, and we refer out when something is outside what we treat.
Recovery for weekend athletes
Prosper has a lot of adults in their thirties and forties still playing competitively, hockey, adult soccer leagues, half marathons, and serious lifting. That group tends to arrive with cumulative problems rather than acute ones: a hip that has been tight for years, a shoulder that clicks, an Achilles that never fully settled.
StemWave, MLS laser, and Normatec compression fit that population particularly well, and we can stack them into one visit so you are not making four trips a month.

Prosper patient questions
How long is the drive from Prosper?
Fifteen to twenty minutes for most of Prosper, south on the Dallas North Tollway or Preston Road to the Legacy Drive exit, then west.
Do you treat Prosper ISD athletes?
Frequently. Prosper's youth sports scene is a major part of our practice, and Dr. Hasheen Lad lives in Prosper and has worked with FC Dallas, UNT Hockey, and competitive gymnasts and figure skaters.
Do you see pregnant patients and newborns?
Yes to both. We have pregnancy-adapted tables for prenatal care through the third trimester, and we use extremely gentle fingertip technique for infants, no twisting and no popping.
